1. Data Collection & Transmission

The Haryana Land Records Helper is a strictly client-side utility tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit any user data to external servers, third parties, or the developer. All operations are processed locally within your browser session.

2. Use of Permissions

The extension requests specific permissions necessary to execute its automated workflow. Each permission is used solely for the following local functions:

• activeTab & tabs: Used only to interact with the map pages on the hsac.in domain to retrieve values when triggered by the user.
• scripting: Used to inject the local helper script (content.js) into the page context.
• storage: Used to preserve your configuration settings (selected district, tehsil, village, and target Khasra numbers) and save scraper progress cache locally inside your browser so it persists across popup closes.

3. Third-Party Disclosures

Since no data is retrieved or stored on our servers, no user information is ever shared, sold, or disclosed. The extension works directly with the public land records search endpoints of the HARSAC portal under your active logged-in session.

4. Data Security

Your configurations and scrapers remain securely in your local Chrome profile storage. Clearing the extension's local cache (via the "Clear Cache" button) or uninstalling the extension permanently purges all saved data instantly.
